Friends from India invited us over, and for one month we travelled together, seeing their country through their eyes.
First up into the misty tea farms in the hills, with colourful villages on the slopes and gaur grazing between the rows of tea. Then a jungle safari at dawn: wild elephants, herds of spotted deer and birds everywhere. And finally down to the sea, with its rivers and beaches, busy spice markets and little Ganesh figures in every shop.
