Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
Your privacy matters to me. This page explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what your rights are. It follows the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Who is responsible
Alessandra Cardone (AC Travelphotography), New Zealand. Questions or requests about your information: please use the contact page.
What I collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, topic and message. I use them only to reply to you.
- Orders: when you buy a print, Stripe collects your name, email, delivery address and payment details. I receive your name, email, delivery address and what you ordered, so I can make and ship your print. I never receive your full card details.
- Technical data: like every website, the hosting provider records basic technical information (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
No tracking cookies
This website doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it doesn't build profiles of visitors. Stripe uses its own cookies during checkout to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.
Services I use
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Web3Forms delivers contact form messages to my email inbox (see web3forms.com/privacy).
- Stripe processes payments (see stripe.com/privacy).
- Google Fonts, cdnjs and jsDelivr deliver the fonts and the globe's map tools to your browser, so your browser connects to their servers and they see your IP address.
- The photo lab and the postal or courier service receive your name and delivery address so your print can be made and delivered.
Some of these providers store data outside New Zealand (for example in the United States or the EU). They are established companies with their own privacy and security safeguards.
How long I keep it
Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer you and deal with any follow-up. Order records are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting (in New Zealand usually 7 years).
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted where I'm not required to keep it. Just get in touch. If you're not happy with my response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes
I may update this policy, for example when I add new services. The date at the top shows the latest version.
